Our mission
- Protection activities particularly Gender based prevention and response including awareness raising and counselling to survivors of SGBV in South Galkaio, Galgadud, L/shabelle and Banadir.
- Training of members of social/health centers, women’s associations, security forces and Courts (magistrates) on: detection of signs of sexual violence and provision of specific assistance; existing legislative measures and criminal procedures related to sexual violence
- Reintegration of ex-combatants
- Psychosocial reintegration of women, children and the women
- Addressing radicalism and extremism
- Provision of material support for SORDA social centers involved in psychosocial care and support to victims of sexual violence
- Provision of medical assistance, psychosocial support and legal assistance to victims of sexual violence
- Realization of activities of social mobilization and radio spots in south central
- Establishment of a sector and cross-sector coordination mechanism for care and support to victims of sexual violence
- Advocacy among the competent authorities to design and plan to fight sexual violence;
- Rehabilitation of child solders through vocational/ skill trainings, psychosocial support, trauma healing and
- Awareness raising against deep dogma of FGM, GBV,HIV/AIDSspread and associated stigma, and child solder and all human right abuses
- Distribution of dignity and NFI kits in Galgaduud, Banadir and Lower
- Women and Child right education through mass media, seminars, groups meetings and
- Organize and active participate Human right day, the 16 days women activism, Child right, World AIDS and Malaria day .
