SORDA addresses the root causes of poverty and suffering through employment generation, capacity building, environment protection, advocacy and partnership in order that vulnerable, disadvantaged and marginalized people are empowered to participate effectively in achieving livelihood security and realizing their rights to live with dignity and self-respect

SORDA has two types of management structure in the organization that constitute and influence organizational functions and other dynamics in variety of ways, these are:

The BOD meets twice a year to discuss issues related to performance of organization and programs activities and sets strategic direction in consultation with the executive organ or management team.
